An exciting full time opportunity exists for a suitably qualified Accountant to join the Adelaide Finance team. The role will see you report to the Finance Manager, completing day to day finance activities. As the Accountant, your key areas of focus will see you deliver:
- Month end close, journal processing, variance analysis and account reconciliation activities
- Management of Fixed Asset Registers (accounting, revaluation and Tax) and process depreciation, asset purchases and disposals
- Support in providing timely, accurate, insightful and forward looking management information and services
- Support in delivering AP, AR and Stock Management activities
- Preparation of tax obligations
- Support in the delivery of company level forecasts and budgets
The ideal applicant will be degree qualified in Accountancy, have completed or are working toward completion of professional certifications as a CPA/CA. You will have good Technical Accounting skills and a highly developed can do attitude. You will possess excellent time management and verbal and written communication skills and show dedication to working as part of team to achieve objectives and get the job done efficiently and within deadline. Strong skills in integrated ERP and Excel are essential.
Previous experience within a manufacturing/maintenance/engineering industry is well regarded but not essential.
