The Organisation:
Mid-sized Government entity based in Canberra.
The Opportunity:
This role is offered as a long term non-ongoing contract for a period of 12 - 18 months. It is a great opportunity to work with an experienced TechnologyOne team to further develop your skills.
The Role:
The role supports the Senior Systems Accountant to undertake daily maintenance and development of the FMIS system. Other key duties include;
- Administration of the TechOne system including security access, month end and upgrades / updates.
- Provision of specialist helpdesk support for The TechnologyOne system.
- Investigate and resolve basic technical issues with the system.
- Coordinate systems integrations.
- Assist with management reporting tasks.
- Assist the broader finance team as required.
- Undertake general ad-hoc finance duties.
- Continuous business process and framework improvements, including system enhancements.
The Person:
You will be a numbers person who enjoys systems work. The role stretches across both systems and accounting tasks and your accounting experience will help set the broader context for your understanding of key systems processes. Experience and skills required for the role include;
- Demonstrated experience in government financial management.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (Accounting) or progress towards is highly desirable.
- Previous experience administrating TechnologyOne or good user experience at the very least.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a changing environment;
- Demonstrated liaison, interpersonal and negotiation skills, including the ability to influence stakeholders through strong verbal and written communication skills.
Applicant MUST be Australian Citizens to be considered for this opportunity. An AGSVA Security Clearance is required.
The Salary:
$80 - 95k + 15.4% super
