Global ASX listed manufacturing company whose products are used in cars, buildings, construction, flooring and furniture seek an experienced Credit Support Officer to support the Australian and New Zealand business. The Job
Reporting through to the Credit Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Reviewing credit limits daily and release orders if payment has been received
- Collection of outstanding debt
- Opening new trade accounts including D&B checks
- Trade reference checks
- PPSR registration
- Regular reporting on accounts that are on hold
- Allocate payments to customer accounts
- Reviewing pricing claims and resolving internally
- Proceed with legal proceedings in conjunction with the Credit Manager for seriously overdue accounts
- Releasing orders when payment has been received

The Candidate
To be successful in this role, you must have experience in the following areas:
- Ideally you will have at least 3 years’ experience working in commercial credit
- Proven track record in maintaining and controlling a ledger of commercial accounts, opening new accounts, conducting credit checks, releasing orders, credit applications and conducting trade references
- Exceptional written & verbal communication skills
- Enjoy working in a fast paced, busy environment
- Friendly, personable team player willing to assist other members of the team when required
- Intermediate Excel with a flair for picking up new systems
- Once you are trained up and confident in your role your regular working hours will be 6.30am to 2.30pm as your role will include addressing credit related matters for Australia and NZ
