About the Role
You will work closely with the Finance manager to support a small finance team. You will cover a large spectrum of responsibilities, ranging from bank reconciliations to book keeping.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and report discrepancies
- Perform daily client money reconciliations, deposits and withdrawals
- Undertake daily book keeping
- Liaise and work with our external accounting/financial reporting division as well as different internal departments
- Manage all supplier accounts and their terms
- Collection, filing and payment of all invoices
- Collection and filing of all payment processor related reporting
- Streamline various processes and procedures
Ideal Candidates
- You have a relevant finance or accounting degree.
- You are CPA/CA qualified or working towards a CPA/CA qualification with at least 2 years of Accounts payable experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to liaise with different departments to authorize payments and collect invoices.
- Ability to manage tasks from end to end.
- Highly organized and pays close attention to detail.
- Ability to adhere and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft excel and word.
