This is a great opportunity to join our client a boutique accounting firm based in Noosa. We are seeking an Accountant, either junior or intermediate experience, to join the friendly and expanding team in new and modern offices. An established practice you will work with a broad and diverse range of business and individual clients, providing you with both challenging and interesting work.
This is a busy and varied role and the successful applicant must be willing to help out in all parts of the business. This is a client facing role and requires strong communication skills. Working closely with the manager, you will be responsible for all the tax compliance and planning work from preparation of financial statements to income tax returns. You will be exposed to a well-established base of successful business clients and modern thinking that challenges the models that traditional accounting has been delivered under. This is a real opportunity to grow your career in the right direction.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:-
- Tertiary qualifications;
- CPA or working towards;
- 1 - 4+ years' experience in an Australian accounting firm;
- excellent communication skills;
- excellent tax/business compliance knowledge;
- ambitions to succeed and be able to work autonomously with a great work ethic;
- Previous experience in a wide variety of Accounting Software is essential.
