The Company
Talentpath are honoured to partner with one of Australia's leading Oil & Energy organisations to source an Senior Payroll Officer. This role will see the successful candidate apply their expert payroll skills within SAP to cover extended leave.This role is being offered on a temporary basis for the approximate duration of 4 months to start ASAP.
The Role
- Processing weekly, fortnightly and monthly pays in a timely and accurate manner
- Providing timely and accurate advice, assistance and responses to internal staff queries
- Ensuring all new starter documents have been received and completed in full, and the information is entered
- Preparing workers compensation earnings
- Preparing reconciliations on a weekly, monthly and yearly basis and process end of month transactions and payments
- End of month reporting
- Processing accurate termination payments in accordance with the relevant industrial instrument
- Other related adhoc duties
Your Profile
As the successful Senior Payroll Officer, you will have experience within a full function or high volume, large workforce payroll environment. You will be proficient in reading, translating and applying knowledge of numerous EBA's. You will be driven by the detail and be comfortable with manipulating large pieces of sensitive data. You will ideally have had recent exposure to SAP and intermediate Excel ability.
