Role Overview
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Financial Accountant will manage all accounting and financial reporting within the Australian company and to the Swiss parent company in accordance with corporate requirements.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Proven experience in preparing various financial statements and reports;
- Supervision of accounts receivable and accounts payable;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Taxation, accounting and administration assistance;
- A strong knowledge of and familiarity with accounting systems in addition to a sound understanding of Accounting and Financial principles and practices;
- Understanding and appreciation of statutory compliance requirements.
The successful applicant will have a tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce or Business Administration, will be highly motivated with strong technical accounting and taxation knowledge, superior communication, commercial acumen, problem solving, relationship building and leadership skills.
