Our client a leading manufacturing company based on the Sunshine Coast are seeking an experienced payroll officer to join their busy team

This full time role will be responsible for duties such as:

Preparing high volume of timesheets for weekly payroll (60 staff )
Processing payroll reports
Must have a good understanding of EBA's and awards
General journals for costing and reporting
Maintaining leave accurals
Monthly superannuation
Processing BERT(redundancy fund) and child support
Answering pay queries
Assist with implementation of a new accounting software program
All Ad hoc tasks associated with payroll

Experience & Skills necessary

At least 3 years of proven payroll experience in a stand alone payroll officer position
Fast and accurate data entry
Strong attention to detail along with excellent organisational skills
Must have a good working knowledge of a variety of industry awards
Excellent interpersonal skills
Good knowledge of MS Office
Good working knowledge of QuickBooks/Reckon and Job Pac
