The Opportunity
 
Our Melbourne office is seeking an experienced Senior Associate or Manager to join our dynamic and collaborative Corporate Finance team.
 
Acting as a true generalist you will be tasked with a broad spectrum of advisory services, whilst also assisting in business development activities. As part of the Corporate Finance division you will work autonomously and in engagements teams, where you will mentor and guide other team members. In this role, you will also receive mentoring support, growth opportunities and direct access to the Partners. 
 
Key responsibilities of this role will include: 

• Valuations, including valuations for taxation (stamp duty and CGT), mergers and acquisitions (including purchase price allocation) and litigation support
• Buy and sell side advisory
• Preparation of Independent Expert's Reports for ASIC and ASX purposes
• Preparation of Investigating Accountant's Reports for inclusion in prospectuses
• Financial investigations and due diligence
• Financial modelling and forecasting
• Preparation of Expert Witness Reports for litigation purposes

 
 The Successful Applicant

• Business / Commerce degree (preferably Accounting related) 
• Completed CA or equivalent with 4+ years of related experience
• Advanced research and report writing skills
• Analytical thinker and solution focused
• Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills
• Business development exposure (desirable)
• Adaptable and enjoys working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
