About the Company:
Due to the significant growth our client is experiencing, they are now seeking three (3) financial officers to join their team. An award-winning mining magnate, this would be a great opportunity for career development and growth working with a reputable organisation.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have accounting experience along with being tertiary qualified and be responsible for payroll, along with other end to end accounting and administration duties. Our client is looking for a payroll officer, senior payroll officer and a Time Capture Officer.
Duties:
- Planning and managing strict payroll deadlines
- Check Trial Pay (on receipt from Payroll Processing) advising of any changes and/or corrections required.
- Complete payroll by saving all relevant reports and roll eTIME to next payroll period.
- Verify leave forms have been received and/or leave balances are adequate.
- Calculation of back pay where applicable/required.
- Award Interpretation - Running of Business rules within eTIME
- Review and amend hours where necessary.
Skills & Experience
- A minimum in 3 to 5 years' experience in similar roles
- Mining experience preferred
- 2 years payroll experience including interpretation of awards and EBA's in a diverse environment
- Exposure to Aurion HRIS is desirable or a similar computerised pay system is essential.
- Strong attention to detail
