We have been helping this business source dynamic, hard-working and switched-on graduates for many years. With recent growth an opportunity has been created for a talented individual to join the funds management arm of this big 4 bank.
The role is that of graduate fund accountant and you will work as part of a large team to efficiently calculate unit prices and accurately maintain accounting records for various funds and products.
Although helpful, prior experience is not a pre-requisite. You will however need to be genuinely interested in financial markets, investments and accounting.
You also need to possess:
- an undergraduate qualification - diploma or degree - with an accounting focus and a reasonable and consistent academic average.
- sound computing skills, particularly with Excel
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- an eye for detail
- a strong work ethic and leadership traits
Important requirements -
- Graduated within the last two years or be close to completion of your current degree and be able to work full-time
- Have a genuine interest and understanding of a fund accountant
- Ability to work 6+months
