Our Client, the Bulbeck Group is a long established and highly successful Newcastle based and privately-owned business, with three companies under the Boards control. Through these three companies, they service a diverse range of industries including Oil & Gas, Water Authorities, Mining and Industry, Defence, Automotive and Transport, Construction, Logistics and Manufacturing throughout Australia, New Zealand and Pacific Islands.
This newly created opportunity provides financial advice to the CEO/MD, three Divisional General Managers, Digital Manager and the HR Advisor, and is responsible for the day to day management of five accounting & administration staff.
Core responsibilities include people management, driving operational efficiencies, governance, risk and compliance, financial management & payroll.
Proven leadership behaviours required to successfully assume this role will include someone who is future focused whilst building the organisational capability with a customer centric approach, complemented with strong commercial acumen, however with the emotional intelligence and courage to drive change, in a unified manner is critical.
Qualifications
• Accounting Degree or equivalent is required
• Completed relevant CPA or ICA qualification highly regarded
Knowledge and Experience
• 2-3 years in similar role with an SME is highly desirable
• 5-10 years working experience after initial qualification is essential
• Experience in people management highly desirable.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft family of product essential
• Previous experience with Netsuite ERP or a similar product desirable.
A competitive remuneration package ($130-150K TRP) will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
