Description
Reporting to the Finance Team Leader, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining relationships within your own client list. Your duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Preparation of monthly financial reports in high volume
- Lodgement of quarterly BAS statements
- Educate clients and internal staff on company systems
- Supervise 1-2 assistant accountants (locally and overseas)
- Maintain positive quality relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Identify ongoing improvements with systems and procedures
- General adhoc projects and queries
Profile
The ideal candidate will be degree qualified (Accounting or related). You will have had prior experience in a similar role and/or have a background in Business Services/Private Clients within a Big 4 or mid-tier public practice accounting firm.
In addition, you will enjoy working as part of a tight knit team and will have the ability to successfully make deadlines. You will have a keen eye for detail and be a strong communicator with an appreciation for new technologies.
Previous exposure to retail franchise-based businesses will be preferred but not a necessity.
