Description

As an Accounts Receivable officer your roles will include, but not be limited to:

• Processing accounts receivable invoices for multiple active clients

• Managing outstanding debt and collections

• Weekly and monthly reconciliations of receivables accounts

• Cash flow forecasting and management

• Minimisation of bad debt and old debt

• Managing all internal and external queries with relation to the receivables accounts

• Assisting the finance team with month end and year end reporting and journals

• Other ad-hoc duties as required by the finance team

Profile

The successful applicant will come from a background in accounts receivable and have worked in a high volume environment previously. Ideally candidates will have experience working with a large ERP system such as SAP or Oracle however other systems will also be considered. Candidates will need to possess clear communication skills and a hard working attitude to be successful in this position. Ideally candidates will have experience working within the insurance or professional services field however other backgrounds will be considered.
