Recruitment company located in South Western Sydney.

We require a Payroll Officer.

Responsible for overall start to finish function of payroll processing this includes the following:

  • Employee Set Up
  • Data entry of all working time sheets
  • Understand a variety of Construction and Civil awards
  • Answering payroll queries from employees 
  • Assist with the payment of statutory payroll deductions and preparation
  • Assist with weekly Billing and photocopying of time sheets
  • Other payroll and at times accounting related duties for Month End
  • Payroll back up in Payroll Managers absence

Prerequisites:

  • Must have current experience processing payroll using software Timberline or similar accounting package.
  • Proven experience processing an end to end payroll with high volume and within a short time frame
  • Must have minimum 2 years construction payroll processing experience
  • Self motivated, very meticulous with detail, reliable and passionate about payroll
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multitask

Salary will commensurate with experience and qualifications.
