Your new company
A highly desirable, local employer in the logistics industry has the opportunity for a driven and organised Credit Officer to join their Finance Team. This company is currently going through a period of growth and needs an experienced Credit Officer or Accounts Receivable Officer on a Temporary, Part Time contract to assist during this period (approx. 20 hours per week).
Your new role
Focusing on providing service to customers regarding their outstanding accounts and collection of over due’s, this role will include tasks such as;
- Full function credit control, dealing with all debtors to adhere to agreed payment terms
- Liaising internally with key stakeholders in the business
- Minimising the aged debts
- Resolving any collections issues
- Updating customer files within the ERP system
- Reconciliations
- Preparation of credits
- Importation processing
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have a solid track record in collections, credit or accounts receivable roles where they have dealt with business customers and maintained strong relationships with repeat business users. You will need to have;
- MYOB Experience (preferably MYOB Advanced)
- At least two years’ experience in a similar role
- Immediate availability
- Data Warehousing experience will be an advantage but not required
- Own Car and ability to drive
