• circa $70,000 package

About the role 
Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible for providing high quality reporting and analysis to help drive business growth, engaging with senior operational stakeholders to provide critical insights and influence commercial outcomes as well as ad-hoc project work.
  
Key tasks will include:

• Delivering high quality management reporting
• Assisting with preparation of annual budget and forecasting requirements
• Commercial analysis of financial information and market trends
• Data research for new projects
• Cash flow analysis
• Ad hoc internal reporting as required
• Establishing relationships outside of finance to deliver analysis and commentary
• Identifying and executing process improvement opportunities

Additional tasks:

• Maintaining the general and subsidiary ledgers
• Ensure the delivery of consolidated reports
• Monthly / yearly report preparation as required
• Balance sheet reconciliations as required
• Compliance reporting including, BAS, FBT, monthly PAYG & Payroll Tax

The successful applicant will have
To be considered for this role you will be CA/CPA qualified or part-qualified with previous experience in a Big 4/Mid-Tier firm or large complex and commercial environment. You have proven experience in adding commercial value to a business and are able to impress stakeholders through your professionalism and commercial insights. Interpersonally you are bright, engaging, confident, and can easily build strong relationships across an organisation. You are also highly proficient with MS Excel and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Previous experience or a passion in property development/construction will be looked upon favourably.
