An opportunity exists for a passionate and experienced Full Time Payroll Officer to join the payroll department in processing a fortnightly end to end Payroll for a 3 month contract starting 23 July 2018.

This role will suit a skilled Payroll Officer with high volume and EMPlive or ADP experience. The successful applicant will report to the Group Payroll Manager and will play an active role in processing the fortnightly payroll of approximately 1,200 team members. You’ll work in a hands on environment where multi-tasking is the norm.

Your role and responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Processing of payroll and finalising payroll reconciliation
  • Assist with payroll related functions including payments for payroll tax, PAYG tax, authorised payroll deductions, worker’s compensation and superannuation payments
  • Setting up new starters and processing terminations
  • Maintaining employee records
  • Answering payroll related enquiries via phone or email
  • Adhoc duties as requested

Key competencies to succeed in the role include:

  • Proven experience processing an end to end payroll with high volume and EMPlive or ADP (inhouse) experience is essential.
  • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills which will be required when dealing. with various stakeholders in the business.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and be hands on is essential.
