The Company
A successful media business experiencing very fast growth on an international scale has a newly created opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join their team. The company is offering great rewards and recognition as well as career development opportunities for the right talented individual.
The Role
Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will be in charge of all financial accounting related duties. Being in charge of the preparation of financial statements and cash flow management, you are also responsible for all tax returns. You will be in charge of the preparation of financial statements and ASX reporting.
This role will also require you to liaise with external auditors as well as internal stakeholders to provide them with accurate financial information. The business experiencing ongoing change, you will also get the opportunity to be involved on several ad hoc projects and contribute to constant process improvements.
This unique opportunity is made for a career driven individual looking to utilize and develop their financial accounting skills in a fast paced and demanding environment. The right candidate will demonstrate the following:
- CA/CPA qualification
- Strong commercial experience working in an ASX listed firm handling the ASX reporting
- Hard working and process oriented, you have the ability to identify change needs and implement them
- Self-driven and ambitious individual
- Charismatic, you hold excellent communication skills
