Your new role
The successful candidate will report to the Audit Manager(s), being responsible for coordinating all audit processes and activities. In particular, you will:
- Plan/manage audit engagements
- Supervise junior audit staff
- Monitor outcomes, ensuring compliance with internal quality and Australian Audit Standards (ASA)
- Ad-hoc duties requested by Audit Managers
- Engage with clients to establish scope and requirements of audit process
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- CA/CPA qualification (or on final subject)
- 3+ years' experience working as an external auditor in mid/top tier firm
- Ability to work in a dynamic team environment
- High level client service skills developed from a similar previous role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to act in a leadership position
- Thorough understanding of Australian Audit Standards (ASA) & associated reporting requirements
