You will be a motivated and pro-active self-starter who is highly organized and able to effectively communicate across all levels of the business. We are looking for someone who will assist with the hands on processing as well as being able to identify ways to create efficiencies and streamline processes as required.
Reporting to the Senior Accountant, the role involves;.
- End of month reporting and transaction processing in a multi-company business environment.
- Monthly General Ledger Reconciliations
- Assisting with the administration of insurance, including claims, variations and payments for insurance and monthly charging to entities
- Intercompany Loan Reconciliations
- Preparation of Profit & Loss and Balance sheet by set deadlines
- Site Analysis including accruals/provisions
- Fleet Management and charging of vehicle hire to entities.
- Preparation and lodgment of monthly and quarterly BAS.
- Daily Bank Reconciliations
- Cost accounting and stock analysis of materials
- Rent and outgoings analysis and invoicing
To be successful in this role you will possess the following
- At least two (4) years' experience in a similar role
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of accounting systems, with use of pronto being an advantage
- Ability to multitask is essential
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload and achieve deadlines
- Ability to work independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced work environment
- The ability to communicate in a team environment is an essential requirement for this position
