Director of Sales | Pullman Quay Grand Sydney Harbour

Pullman Quay Grand Sydney Harbour is currently looking for a talented and driven Director of Sales to lead all sales activities at the property.

THE HOTEL

Pullman Quay Grand Sydney Harbour is the embodiment of chic style and sophistication. The hotel is perfectly located in beautiful East Circular Quay, near the iconic Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge. Our luxurious 5-star Sydney hotel with apartment-style suites offers business and leisure guest’s luxury accommodation overlooking either the stunning Sydney Harbour Bridge and lively Circular Quay or the serenity of the Royal Botanic Gardens.

THE ROLE

Reporting directly to the hotel’s General Manager, you will lead and drive all sales activities for the property. Your position will play a critical role in developing and implementing the strategic sales plan leading to the achievement of the hotel’s sales targets.

As part of the property’s leadership team, your responsibility will be maximise yield and growth from all target market segments, including corporate, MICE and wholesale. You will manage key relationships with senior decision makers from PCO’s, corporate accounts and travel agents.

You will oversee the Conference & Events Team supported by a Conference & Events Sales Executive & Conference & Events Coordinator and you will lead the team to exceed revenue targets and conversion ratios in line with the hotel’s objectives. You will also be involved in and support the team with contracting and site inspections.

This is a proactive role, and you will work closely with the Director of Revenue & Marketing Manager to maximise and drive all sales opportunities for the hotel.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

You will have a minimum of 3 years sales experience within a similar environment.

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate the ability to excel within a luxury brand. You will also bring with you excellent presentation and communication skills, proven sales experience within a hotel environment, and above all else, pride yourself on ability to build relationships.
