About the role
The key objective of this role will be to support the Category Manager to develop a successful growth strategy for the perishable categories in the independent retailer space. With more consumer demand in both dairy and frozen categories you will play a pivotal role supporting a function that delivers profitable growth for the independent retailer. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to further their career with a leading FMCG company.
What you’ll do
Your role will be to provide key information and administrative support to the Category Manager giving them the tools they need to support the growth of their category. Your duties will involve:
- Setting up, managing and updating supplier promotional plans
- Maintaining Promotions Program Systems
- Generating reports for supplier communication/ Promotional Verification
- Developing and maintaining internal and external relationships - effective communication with all applicable stakeholders at all levels as required
- Co-ordinating weekly promotion submissions and delivering an optimal weekly sales plan for the business and retailers
