Repelec (Aust) is a market leader in supplying premium branded electrical, lighting and ventilation solutions via our channel partners to the trade and construction industry, for installation into commercial and residential projects.

The group has a significant product offering for these industries, including a full range of electrical switches and outlets, wiring installation accessories, lighting, security, ventilation and air movement and hand dryers. 

To achieve our growth objectives, we are now seeking a technical Sales Representative to promote our portfolioto electrical contractors, developers, specifiers and end users across Brisbane and Sunshine Coast, whilst supporting a key group of Electrical Wholesaler customers.  This is a very hands-on role requiring a strong desire to win and a tenacious attitude in following up all sales leads.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure sales growth by actively seeking new business;
  • Identifying, promoting and securing shelf space at Key Electrical Wholesaler customers
  • Build new relationships with contractors, designers, developers and end users;
  • Promote our product range to the commercial & residential construction industries, including government departments and specifiers;
  • Find new project opportunities, submit tenders and follow through to order phase;
  • Conduct site and specifier visits to advise on product specification, design, performance and provide technical assistance;
  • Manage and grow a strategic list of Electrical Wholesaler customers.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in the commercial, residential lighting, electrical or HVAC industries;
  • A proven track record in B2B and B2C sales;
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel;
  • The ability to work, think and react independently and quickly;
  • Exceptional time management skills along with a high degree of energy;
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar technical sales role.
