An exciting opportunity is available for a natural born Sales Hunter who is energetic, results driven and passionate about providing outstanding service to join our dynamic team!
As the Area Sales Manager, you will be required to manage your own sales territory, customer relationships and daily sales activities accountable for supporting a small team in Mackay to achieve sales targets and sustainable profitable growth.
Other key responsibilities will also include:
- Generate and maintain profitable and sustainable Industrial business sales / accounts in line with Coregas strategic plan and individual territory targets
- Developing and implementing sales strategies to maintain and increase market share, as well as forecast and plan future growth
- Actively participate in the negotiation of major account contracts to maximise sales and margin growth within the region
- Build and maintain long term business relationships with current and potential clients and customers
- Produce proposals, tenders, quotations and contract documents
By keeping your finger on the pulse of competitor activity, you will be able to conduct thorough market analysis and develop and implement strategies to compete profitably.
As our ideal candidate you have a proven successful track record within a Sales or Business Development role along with exceptional communication and relationship building skills. You are self-driven leader with the ability to work autonomously as well as being a team player and you have strong negotiation and influencing skills. Prior experience within the industrial, engineering or welding application fields and a tertiary qualification in sales, business or marketing would be highly regarded.
