REPORTS TO

The Food Service Executive Manager

KEY RELATIONSHIPS

Internal

• Sales Executives
• All other departments i.e. purchasing, accounts, warehouse, dispatch, telesales etc.

External

• Customers i.e. existing and prospective
• Manufacturer/Supplier representatives

SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS

• Monthly reporting
• Attend monthly meetings
• Maintain customer relations with target clients and existing key accounts in your portfolio
• Increase sales to existing customers in your portfolio
• Identify and obtain new business in Food Service
• Show professionalism and respect towards your colleagues and clients
• Be aware of potential bad debts
• On time liaison with other departments on whom decisions and plans may impact
• Reporting on trade information, competitor activity and market trends

SPECIFIC DUTIES

• Reach Sales and GP% budgets
• Grow sales in your territory
• Offer clients our range of specials(e.g. slow moving lines, promotions etc)
• Call rates to be maintained
• Cold calling prospective clients
• Weekly and monthly reporting

Education

• Minimum yr 12 finish

Experience

• Minimum 3 years experience in similar industry and role
