Sales & Contracts Administrator

Having enjoyed a strong start to 2018, we are seeking to expand our existing sales team here in Queensland, and are now seeking to recruit a sales consultant, based in our Yatala Branch base between the Gold Coast & Brisbane.
The Role:
Working within our existing sales team, this role will see the successful candidate focusing on looking after a range of existing accounts and customers, with a keen focus being to be more proactive with these accounts, to better understand their business needs, and ensure that we form strong business relationships and uncover and develop all possible commercial opportunities. Dealing on a daily basis with a range of contractors and resellers within the building, civil, utilities and electrical industries, this role will mainly concentrate on dealing with trade customers and resellers. This is a busy, fast paced and proactive role, which will allow the successful candidate a great deal of autonomy to develop their accounts as they see fit; there will be a strong focus on getting the most out of your customer base, and on a daily basis the successful candidate will be expected to produce quotations, process orders, answer product queries, handle customer enquiries, liaise with operations and shipping, and proactively manage their accounts.
About you:
With prior experience of working within an internal sales environment, the successful candidate should have previous experience of working within a busy sales office, be used to multitasking and have a good eye for detail; A solid background using various types of software is essential as this role will give you access to CRM, Project tracking software, and Internal operations and accounting software. Most importantly we are seeking the RIGHT person, someone whom has a desire to be successful and wants to achieve goals and objectives, given that we already have a very good and high performing team, you should have an ability to fit in well with others, obviously prior sales experience is a must, as is some demonstrable successes in your sales career thus far.
We will provide product training, and IT systems training; and the successful candidate can look forward to progressing with the company as we grow, hopefully moving into product management, Key Account Management or even external sales positions as their skills develop.
