About the role
Reporting to the General Manager of the Nutrition & Healthcare business division, the remit of this role will be to develop and implement strategies for growth of the Personal Care business unit through the existing market leading principles products and solutions.
Duties
- Manage the defined principle portfolios and act as the main stakeholder for those key relationships
- Develop and execute on winning sales strategies aligned to the principles goals and growth plans
- Lead, support and drive the strategy through the state-based account management teams
- Manage and offer technical support and product training to the state-based customer facing sales teams aligned to Personal Care business unit
- Undertake regular joint visits at a national level with the sales team to understand the market trends and business opportunities
- Bring new products and solutions to market, understand the customer requirements and develop opportunities
- Work closely with the technical and internal product development teams regarding new product and innovation.
- Monitor performance of the business unit against set KPI's to ensure targets are achieved
Skills & Experience
- The ideal candidate will have technical & commercial experience with product knowledge across the Personal Care market within the chemical manufacturing or distribution sectors
- A degree qualification in an industry related subject is not essential however will be looked at favourably
- You will be a strategic thinker and be able to execute in the field to support the national sales team
- A hand’s on and supportive leader who can engage and inspire diverse teams of people
- Commercially savvy, you will you have great presentation skills and the ability to build trusted advisor relationships both principles and customers
- Strong internal and external stakeholder engagement skills
- Above all you will have a clear demonstrable track record of success.
