Our Canberra office in Civic is one of our close-knit teams of consulting professionals and we are now on the hunt for an Account Manager.

 

About the role

As well as managing existing accounts, you will also work on developing new business in the Commonwealth Government market offering process governance solutions for the Microfocus Content Manager customer base. You will get to work closely with our inside sales resource in Sydney to develop and expand our client reach. 

We have strong customer relationships established over time with loyal customers including the ACT Government, the Australian Electoral Commission, IP Australia and the Department of Defence.

 

About you

We are seeking a highly motivated achiever with a degree of professionalism who enjoys collaborating with customers to develop strategies to improve user adoption and strategic value from Objective solutions for the business. 

Ideally having experience in selling enterprise software to government clients, you will be able to articulate the business value of Objective software solutions to clients and prospects and identify the efficiency benefits that Objective information and process governance can deliver.

 

Day to day responsibilities 

  • Achieve annual revenue targets software and professional services
  • Develop appropriate pipeline to achieve current and future year’s quota through personal prospecting and effective marketing programs
  • Effectively demonstrate domain expertise in the public sector and regulated industries while providing value and insight to key stakeholders
  • Leverage a strong network and the development and maintenance of relevant industry contacts and influencers
  • Maximise customer satisfaction and retention

 

Your experience

  • Proven sales ability including outstanding negotiation skills, persuasive ability and exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Consultative approach to selling with highly developed interpersonal/relationship building skills
  • Background in selling enterprise software to government clients
  • Previous Commonwealth Government experience
  • Ideally a University degree in Business and/or Technology
