As our company embarks on a significant program of business and technology improvement, we are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic State Sales & Operations Manager for our WA and SA regions.  Reporting to the National Sales & Operations Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales performance, developing business relationships and leading and motivating a medium sized team across WA and SA.  Strong knowledge and previous experience within the Automotive industry is desirable but not essential, however a passion and understanding for the Pedders brand and products is a must.

Key Elements of the role:

  • Drive sales performance and growth across the WA and SA region
  • Responsible for developing and achieving sales budgets
  • Ensure the commercial financial viability by achieving agreed budgets, sales and margin targets to maximise store profitability
  • Demonstrate a constructive leadership style to motivate and support your teams to achieve sales targets and manage performance
  • Develop Franchise relationships and identify potential franchise opportunities  
  • Actively assist outlets to develop and build relationships with retail and trade customers
  • Provide excellent Customer Service across a broad customer base from retail to B2B and engaged stakeholders
  • Communicate effectively to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Carry out required administration tasks as part of the role
  • Be able to participate in after-hours meetings, training and trade shows as required
  • Ability to travel domestically as required

 

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrated sales achievements/performance and business growth at a state or national level in a retail environment
  • Strong communication and engagement skills with the ability to inspire high performance
  • Excellent leadership skills to support team development and provide mentorship
  • Strong time management skills and ability to organise priorities and meet operational goals to drive the business across WA and SA
  • Exceptional customer service focus with high attention to detail and excellent follow up
  • Proficient in MS Office
