You will be a born people person and have previous sales experience! You will effectively manage and grow our key accounts in and around the local area across our regional mastheads, our full range of digital products including digital display, targeted display, Google AdWords, out-streaming video content & sponsored content just to name a few.

Based in Newcastle and reporting to the Media Sales Manager, responsibilities include reaching set targets and growing revenue streams through selling print and digital platforms.

Key responsibilities of this position include:

• Meeting and exceeding revenue & volume budgets
• Identifying opportunities and generating leads, resulting in new business
• Attending client meetings and conducting presentations
• Assisting in finalisation of print and digital bookings
• Providing excellence in customer service & professionally handling client interactions
• Developing client & industry relationships
• Negotiating agreements with clients Gathering market, client & industry intelligence
• Continually improving outcomes for key clients.
• As our ideal candidate, you will have the following attributes:
• Experience within media/advertising, account management is highly desired
• Digital sales & marketing experience in Google AdWords products
• High level of both sales and customer service experience
• Excellent telephone and communication skills
• A strong ability to build and maintain relationships
• Excellent time management skills
• A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
