The role

We require a professional, driven Inside Sales Manager to assist in developing our inside sales team to support our rapidly growing client base. This is an opportunity best suited for someone looking to establish themselves in a growing company that has scope and desire to grow within an organisation. You will be described as a high energy person that thrives in assisting others deliver their sales goals. A competent leader who inspires and motivates others.

Your key areas of responsibility would be:

  • To coach & guide the existing team to handle inbound enquiries and convert to sales
  • Reviewing sales calls for quality of call and compliance to operational systems
  • Maximise the effectiveness and efficiencies of the team to achieve increased outbound call numbers
  • Monitoring statistics of individual members to improve effectiveness
  • Assist in the hiring, onboard and manage new hires and demonstrate your ability to create a stable and high performing inside sales team.

Your background will demonstrate:

  • Experience in an inside sales role with a team of at least six people handling inbound and outbound calls
  • An understanding of events and conference industry, ideally having attended or previously sold event space or conference facilities
  • At least 2-3 years' experience with B2B phone-based sales
  • Demonstrated business thinking and ability to improve sales results
  • Proven experience in problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM or similar
  • Intermediate computer skills
