Your new company
Hays are currently partnering with Bathroom Products Australia, who are Australian subsidiary of a major international manufacturer of Bathroom Products, including vitreous china, tapware, showers and baths. Established in Europe a century ago (and the Australian subsidiary 20 years ago), this business designs, manufactures and distributes many different brands of FOW Bathroom Products, including JohnsonSuisse and Marbletrend. Today, they operate nationally, and manufacture at various company factories across the globe. Their products are distributed through leading plumbing and home improvement merchants and bathroom showrooms across Australia and New Zealand. Ambitious growth plans are set in place for the next five years requiring an experienced and hands-on Sales Representative to join the external sales team in Sydney.
Your new role
As a Sales Representative, your responsibilities will include the following;
- Territory management - South Sydney metro area
- Maintaining and strengthening relationships with customers within your designated territory, including Merchants, Builders, and Plumbers
- Implementing regular call cycles with customers
- Provide technical support to customers on Bathrooms Products Australia’s product portfolio
- Working with customers to support them on building projects and suggesting suitable products
- Distributional of collateral and supporting promotional opportunities with major client groups
- Driving brand awareness and revenue growth in line with company objectives
What you'll need to succeed
As the suitable candidate you will have the following;
- Previous experience as a Sales Representative
- Demonstrated success of managing a territory
- Experience of selling to Builders, Merchants and Plumbers previously
- A background in the Plumbing/Bathroom industry would be advantageous
- Tertiary qualifications preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Ambition to succeed and hit revenue targets
