Tyre and Tube Australia (Services) Pty Ltd is one of the leading National commercial and industrial tyre wholesalers in Australia. We currently have a vacancy for an enthusiastic and experienced National Sales Manager, to be based in our Sydney branch. 

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the position will be primarily responsible for generating sales and meeting sales budgets through the effective management of both the internal and external sales teams.  The NSM also has a hands on function with key national accounts, along with identifying and developing new business channels. Key to the success of the role will be the management and growth of TTA Regions, Products and Brands among the sales team.

The position will also be specifically responsible for the following:

  • Manage, mentor, train, oversee all external Account Managers to meet/exceed individual Budgets
  • Manage and oversee the performance of the Sales Hub (call centre)
  • Establish and maintain customer relationships amongst national accounts and key major tyre dealers
  • Develop and implement strategies for increasing sales opportunities and results within each Region
  • Implement all sales and marketing activities within each Region via monthly regional sales meetings
  • Communicate new product opportunities, developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff, to see better informed, higher performing sales people
  • Identify and resolve client concerns
  • Develop and maintain product knowledge of all TTA brands
  • Complete all reporting requirements using tools provided by the Company
  • Utilise the Company's CRM software to record all sales activities and plans

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate exceptional skills in the following:

  • Key Account Management
  • Development and implementation of sales strategies
  • Strong track record in sales, sales management and sales leadership
  • Problem solving and the ability to implement effective solutions
  • Resource Planning
  • Willingness to travel

Evidence of constructive team work and sound analytical capabilities is essential. Experience in an industrial or commercial industry is preferred.
