ABOUT BOUTIQUE STAYS
Founded in Melbourne in 2006 Boutique Stays manage a curated portfolio of over 50 handpicked homes defined by quality, high standards, experience and exemplary guest care in the short stay accommodation market. Our homes are located across 20 popular suburbs in Melbourne. Our team are available to assist guests 7 days per week with over 10 years property management and customer service experience. We specialise in ‘Matching Homes and Hearts’ and pride ourselves in creating the perfect match between home and guest each and every time. We work across both the tourism and corporate sectors with approximately half of our room nights attributed to corporate bookings with stays of one month or longer.
We are a dynamic small business employing a team of approximately 8 and our office is conveniently located in Port Melbourne.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Managing Director, this role is responsible for building a B2B database from scratch, then nurturing these leads into active accommodation booking agents, achieving sales targets in line with the Strategic Plan.
The successful applicant will ensure new accounts have an excellent understanding of our positioning, scope of service, and booking terms and conditions, resulting in quality booking enquiries.
In addition, this role will also be required to fulfill reservations responsibilities as needed, converting enquiries into confirmed bookings by nurturing all leads and ensuring an excellent customer experience through a high attention to detail.
This is a full time role, including both office and field based responsibilities.
Salary package will include base salary, commission & vehicle allowance or company vehicle (to be negotiated). Phone and laptop provided.
Experience
Cold calling experience, and developing and working a database
3-5 years sales experience involving a strategic element to the product or service being sold
Skills and Knowledge
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong analytical skills with excellent skills in Excel
Strong financial acumen
Ability for strategic thinking & planning
