Do you live and breathe sport? The continued growth of the sporting and fashion industries and the success of the Sherwood Sportswear brand has created the need for a new role in our Sales team. Reporting to the Brand Manager, the incumbent will assist with securing new business, superior servicing of corporate sponsors and current clients, and continue existing relationship building.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Development
- Actively prospecting and pursuing new business clients
- Develop strategies and opportunities in the Australia’s Sporting Industry
- Identify and develop additional business with current corporate clients
- Promptly action business leads and enquiries
- Assist with renewal activities of current corporate and licensed clients and agents
- Networking and attending specific high profile sporting and corporate sponsored events
Account Servicing & Relationship Management
- Manage and service your assigned corporate or club clients
- Assist the Brand Manager by providing servicing support for all corporate clients
- Promptly respond and action corporate client requests
- Regular and meaningful communication with all corporate clients
- Establishing and developing professional business relationships with all clients
- Ensure all benefits are delivered and where possible exceed client expectations
- Liaise with external parties to ensure corporate client benefits and programs are delivered
Administrative
- Assist with producing and implementing all sales, communication and commercial collateral
- Assist with delivery of all custom clothing manufacturing
- Manage internal database and worksheets
- Preparing internal reports when requested on a regular basis
Selection Criteria Essential
- Relevant Tertiary Qualification
- A keen interest in Sport and fitness is a must
- Be able to demonstrate good skills in relationship management
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Previous Sales Experience
- Ability to work together in a small team environment
