About the role

SALES ASSOCIATE

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Calling leads generated by OANDA marketing initiatives 
  • Drive sales for Retail products and services 
  • Meets or exceeds client conversion and revenue targets 
  • Responsible for answering prospects questions 
  • Responsible for training each prospect on OANDA products and services 
  • Works with New Accounts to assist customers when completing all documents required to open an account 
  • Responsible for documenting all client communications in Salesforce® 
  • Attend sales meetings

 

Skills and experience

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work flexible hours 
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or 3 to 5 years of related financial Sales experience 
  • Demonstrated desire and willingness to continually upgrade skills and training with regards to financial markets, combined with an interest in international events 
  • An independent, self-directed individual who is not afraid to make decisions to develop, execute and deliver on an assigned strategy 
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills combined with the ability to grasp complex concepts quickly, identify key messaging for different audiences 
  • Positive attitude, flexible nature, thriving in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment 
  • A highly detailed individual with the ability to multitask and adhere to deadlines while managing multiple projects 
  • Ability to cultivate meaningful relationships and work effectively with cross-functional teams while remaining decisive and displaying sound judgment 
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience in Salesforce® an asset 
  • Solid analytical, quantitative, verbal and written communication skills 
  • Experience in the financial industry or technology sectors would be an asset
