The opportunity

We're looking for an exceptional business to business (B2B) sales professional to join our dynamic sales team. Based out of our Laverton North (VIC) office, this role is full time and permanent.

The position is responsible for maintaining and creating rewarding B2B relationships, selling an extensive range of raw materials and chemicals to a variety of clients, including the paint/coatings, metals, concrete and construction industries. A significant focus of this position is partnering with key accounts on maintaining and growing partnerships, ensuring high quality customer service and expertise.

The ideal candidate would possess extensive sales and account management experience, with a background in the industries mentioned, or ideally in the chemicals industry, including those working for similar distributors.

Taking ownership of your group of customers, you'll get on the road to meet with your contacts regularly. This position requires travel across Victoria, with most clients located within the Melbourne metro area.

About you

People describe you as charismatic and friendly. Your exceptional communication abilities, coupled with an initiative to follow up and deliver have earnt you a fantastic reputation with your clients. You have an impeccable ability to negotiate and secure sales.

You're fluent in conversing and working with business that specialise in manufacturing and construction, including in a B2B capacity.

Being organised, you'll have no trouble moving from your client calls and meetings, to inputting comprehensive notes and purchase orders in our in-house CRM system.

A team player by nature, you'll be ready to work towards the goals of the Redox sales squad, whilst kicking personal goals along the way.

To be a success with Redox, you will need:

  • Demonstrated business to business sales experience in surface coatings/paint /construction /rubber /adhesive/ plastic/ ink industries, with a track record of exceeding sales targets;
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residence status;
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation and organisational skills;
  • Resilience, motivation and initiative - winning needs to be in your DNA!;
  • The desire to record, share and account for your work by thorough use of a CRM.
