Our client is a leading provider of specialist decorative concrete coatings and flooring compounds for the construction and industrial markets with a 25-year reputable history in the market. 

Following the successful launch of an improved and more competitive product range, the company is seeking a trade specialist to drive sales of these items to new and existing accounts into the greater Gold Coast and Brisbane regions. 

You will be promoting the products directly to specialist tradespeople applicators , through company run trade outlets and to independent distributors. 

You will be well supported, mentored and coached by a hands-on Manager with 20 years of diverse construction industry experience. So it is an excellent opportunity to be part of a motivated and focussed sales team where you can learn, or simply excel, in a positive and supportive work environment.

Detailed product training will be provided, consequently the ability to relate to and convince tradespeople to trial and switch to the company's products is the key attributes that is sought.   An understanding and appreciation of the challenges of servicing tradesman on job sites will be necessary; hence a background in selling or providing construction materials is an advantage.

You will also:

  • Possess a hunter mentality and love winning the business of new accounts
  • Have sound business acumen, be analytical, organised and able to prioritise
  • Possess strong written and oral communication skills for formulation of proposals and specifications
  • Be professional, passionate, and results-oriented. 


Reporting to the Business Manager, you will be well supported with an excellent Research and Development team, experienced marketing personnel and well drilled and motivated logistical staff. You will be joining a privately owned, nationally based business with a successful long term record and a continuing appetite for expanding products and markets.
