An opportunity has now presented itself where we are seeking to appoint an Estimator/Sales/Project Administration executive for our WA operation based in Malaga WA.

Our portfolio covers three divisions
- Architectural and Security Bollards.
- Industrial Gates, automation & Perimeter Security.
- Bicycle Parking and enclosures.

Our team in each state are extremely successful in developing and maintaining relationships with specifiers, builders, local government and the security industry, and we now seek a strong individual here in WA

This advertised role is for an experienced Internal Estimator/Sales/Project Administrator person. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, presentable, ambitious, preferably with experience in the building industry (but not essential) and looking for a stable and rewarding career move.

Key requirements:

• Liaises  with customers. Internal stakeholders and sub-contractors, attends to their requests, enquiries and complaints.
• SWMS & WH&S requirements for projects and completion of required documentation
• Handover package and sign off on all major projects
• Assist with stock control and stock counts 
• Building pricing and costing plans 
• Working closely with the project teams
• Working across a number of different projects 
• Upskilling and development of opportunities
• Excellent communication and quotation experience.
• Team player, analytical, process driven and adaptable
• Strong follow-up, time management and prioritising skills
• Focused on understanding / comprehending clients needs and being able to develop & manage solutions which achieve the client’s objectives
• Manage all quotes and sourcing of product, materials, and installation to maximise project ROI
• Responsible for maintaining an accurate and up to date Sales pipeline and project program (18 month forecast)
• Backing up the sales team by providing admin support, sourcing  
• Trouble shooting delivery schedules and generally assisting Account Managers to be successful
• Liaising and communicating between sales and production to ensure that customers’ needs are met within constraints and limitations of production schedules
• Prepare quotations and enter into ERP system for review and approval by State Manager.  
• Track orders and keep customers and Account Managers abreast of delays
• Ensure that thorough and accurate details are input from customer orders so that production schedules can be developed seamlessly and efficiently.
• Responds to and resolve customer enquiries including quotes and orders, following up with Production and logistics and ensure flow of information and communication is thorough and accurate
• Deliver exceptional customer service to our valued customers – internal and external

The successful candidate will be an experienced Construction Estimator. Have a strong understanding on detailed plans and projects. 

• Previous experience in Construction Estimation, Sales and Project Management is essential 
• High level of detail
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Looking for a long term opportunity
• Proven ability to coordinate and drive several contractors/consultants across multiple projects within Western Australia
• Strong Estimating experience – good knowledge of construction industry
• Excellent computer knowledge – proficient with estimating software/packages as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
