This is an exciting and newly created position where you will have plenty of resources on hand to help you win deals. You will be joining a collaborative environment, with an attractive remuneration structure ranging from $100,000 to $130,000 base + super + a great uncapped commission structure, seeing you earn $160k+ OTE (depending on experience). This is a role for a self-starter who does not mind on the road travel.

What you will be doing:

Reporting to the Sales Director, the primary purpose of the role is to manage all aspects of the sales, business development, demand generation and sales activities in the Australian marketplace. The scope includes the successful candidate to be a “hunter” with strong solution selling skills; with a proven track record of “winning”, maintaining and expanding relationships. A strong track record of sales in the government IT solutions will allow you to reach out comfortably to this target market. Working with leading It solutions, such as cloud, security data, you will be meeting key decision makers, presenting, demonstrating and using insights to create a want and need for the solution. You will be working with a range of deal values, from the thousands to the millions, allowing you to provide a diverse offering and use your different range of skills.

What you must have to apply for this role:

  • Significant sales experience targeting government bodies
  • Strong IT Solutions sales experience
  • Sales methodology training and application in prior roles (Challenger, SPIN etc.)

You will be highly regarded if you also have:

  • Previously worked in a similar role selling a range of IT solutions to government
  • Commercial acumen and solution-based sales approach
