The Company
Based in South Sydney (close to airport & train station) for over 25 years, we are an Australian owned Family Trade and Service centre. Our core business includes supply of steel and value added service in addition to sales of Welding & Industrial supplies. We stock a large range of steel products consisting of structural, pipes, RHS, SHS, merchant bar, plate and sheet, builder's mesh, concrete reinforcing and accessories. Value added services provided include Structural, Stainless and sheet metal fabrication, guillotining, press brake bending, high definition plasma cutting, turret punching, laser cutting, rolling and hot dip galvanizing for industry, trade, builders and DIY.
The Person
With a metal sales or steel fabrication background, your role is vital to the company as it involves tasks associated in internal sales and customer service. This position could also suit a steel fabricator intending to make a switch from hands on role to counter sales. The ideal candidate would require having understanding of or experience in steel / welding supply sales or metal fabrication. The person should be customer oriented able to work in a fast paced environment. Experience in welding and welding supplies will be an advantage.

The Role
- Counter sales of steel, industrial and welding products
- Follow up with customers from initiating a sale to its completion
- Achieve sales targets
- Work with Sales Manager in coordinating showroom display and promotions to enhance sales
- Identify areas for improvement within Sales
