About the role
We are seeking a full time sales professional to prospect, convert, develop and maintain new business. You will be measured on results, not your technique so this role is best suited to someone who is self-motivated with a hunger for success.
What you would be doing
The main things that you would be doing include:
- Establish, develop and maintain positive client relationships
- Present, promote and sell products/services to prospective clients
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
- Track sales and provide status reports
- Ensure the swift resolution of client problems and complaints
- Keep abreast of best practices in market and communicate trends back to the business
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
- A background in print, mail, packaging or advertising is not essential but will be highly regarded
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
- Proven ability to build positive professional relationships with clients
- Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in new business sales will be advantageous
- Excellent presentation, selling, communication and negotiation skills
- Proven willingness to learn and improve
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
- Articulate, punctual, organised
- Be okay with rejection (hey, it’s a sales role, you can’t win them all!)
- Be fun
- Be flexible and keep the client’s goals front of mind
