The primary focus of this pivotal role is to support the business in managing workplace health and safety while working collaboratively with our clients and corporate division to effectively manage return to work for injured workers.

The Workplace Health & Safety Coordinator is responsible for:

  • Working with the State Manager and Australia and New Zealand Workplace, Health and Safety team to drive safe work strategies and systems
  • Conducting pre and ongoing WHS assessment of Kelly’s client base to ensure onsite risk falls within acceptable standards
  • Delivering internal and external training to our consultants and temporary employee workforce
  • Conducting pre-employment Functional Movement Screening and Drug/Alcohol Testing
  • Providing advice and support to the business including workplace health and safety interactions with our employees and clients
  • Maintaining a high standard of record keeping to meet quality standards and privacy legislation
  • Demonstrating behaviours consistent with Kelly values and culture.

The ideal applicant will be a driven and highly motivated individual, who has experience in a industrial background and aptitude in a commercial environment. Excellent written and face-to-face communication skills, the ability to build effective relationships at all business levels, and delivering quality customer service and advice around all areas of health and safety are key requirements. We are looking for someone with:

  • 1 years plus experience working in a WHS role within a sales environment
  • Tertiary education with Diploma of Workplace Health and Safety preferred
  • Drug and Alcohol Testing Qualification would be highly advantageous
  • Experience gained from a similar role within Manufacturing, FMCG, Transport or Logistics sectors would be highly advantageous.
