About the position

This is an opportunity to make a profound impact to our organisation by developing our exceptionally talented, bright, and driven graduates and cadets into the future leaders of Linfox. We are looking for a dynamic, organised self-starter to join our Human Resources Team in the role of HR Program Lead.

You will be responsible for developing, managing and growing the Linfox Graduate and Cadet  Program, which involves developing and implementing a multitude of capability frameworks and building proactive business relationship with a variety of key internal and external stakeholder.  

You will have excellent communication skills and proven program management experience ideally in supply chain and logistics or similar industries. To be successful in this position, you must be highly motivated, creative and a self-starter who is able to think big, execute flawlessly and stay focused on the details.

Reporting to the Organisational and People Development Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for:

  • Participating and committing to Safety Standards and COR requirements at all times;
  • Designing and implementing comprehensive capability frameworks across many diverse roles;
  • Creating engaging and detailed Graduate and Cadet Program curriculum;
  • Consulting and conducting needs analysis to design and improve Graduate and Cadet Programs;
  • Evaluate programs and provide an insight into any improvements;
  • Facilitate face-to-face and virtual learning for mentors, managers, graduate and cadets;
  • Develop training materials, manuals, document learning programs and resources;
  • Design learning resources and job aids to support performance;
  • Work collaboratively with all key stake holders including but not limited to HR Team, Senior Leaders and Line Managers.
  • Work alongside line managers to motivate, coach and support graduates and cadets to embed learning and improve performance.

About you

The successful applicant will possess the following:

  • Significant experience in organisational training and building capability frameworks;
  • Capability to logically plan and set priorities, identify and resolve problems to produce measurable results;
  • Ability to effectively work with a variety of management levels, cultures, and personalities;
  • Experience working within a fast-paced operationally focused environment;
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong listening skills, ability to clarify and probe for understanding;
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills;
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams;
  • Experience with delivering learning initiatives to various stakeholders;
  • Confidence in facilitating both face-to-face and virtual training;
  • Experience evaluating learning services and developing training materials and manuals.
