An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic School Leaver Employment Support and Onboarding Manager to lead the Employee Acquisition team in the attraction, selection, recruitment and onboarding of supported employees.
Responsibilities:
- Enhance, coordinate and administer the development and ongoing delivery of Bedford’s School Leaver Employment Supports (SLES) program.
- Promote Bedford’s services to potential applicants, through liaison with schools, transition centres, Job Network providers, families, participants/clients, other disability services and Government agencies.
- Leadership of onboarding (all streams for Bedford) and employee recruitment team.
- Source new business opportunities in the Disability Employment sector.
- Promote the business and grow services that support employment for people living with disability.
- Experience in a recruitment or onboarding role.
- Experience in a customer service role is desired but not essential.
- Cert 4 in training and assessment (desirable).
- Well developed leadership skills.
- A comprehensive understanding and working knowledge of the NDIS, including NDIS School Leaver Employment Support and School to Work Transition.
- A professional and ethical approach to doing business.
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
- A multitasker with the ability to priority task and take action in a timely manner.
- Client focus individual.
- Display qualities, professional conducted, and positive attitude consistent with Bedfords values.
