Each day you come to work at finder.com.au, you will be sitting in a comfortable Aeron chair and working at a comfortable workstation in our stunning Sydney CBD office. The kitchen is well stocked with healthy snacks, drinks, fresh fruit and catered lunches are provided daily.

Who are you?
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you are dedicated to attracting the best minds and people to work with us at finder. You are constantly looking for new ways to proactively source, attract and engage A players. You will develop candidate pipelines and source candidates for roles across all of our functions including technology, product, data, digital marketing, public relations and publishing.
 
Acting as an advocate of our company values, you'll help articulate finder's employer brand, positioning us globally as an employer of choice.
 
You know there's more to recruitment than just placing a job ad and are proactive when it comes to finding talent. Having worked in a fast-growth tech company, you understand the industry, the talent market and how it works.  You're organised and manage the interview scheduling and admin that comes with recruitment with ease.
 
Responsibilities
  • Proactively source, attract and engage A-player talent across Sydney, New York, London, Poland and Philippines.
  • Build strong candidate pipelines for all our roles and maintaining regular contact with potential talent
  • Source, screen, interview and guide candidates through our recruitment process, providing them with a positive experience whether they do or don't receive an offer
  • Ensure finder hires talent that is the right role and organisational fit
  • Ensure hiring managers are supported through the recruitment process by:
    • Working with hiring managers to define their recruitment needs and strategy
    • Writing job descriptions and job ads
    • Shortlisting candidates for roles
  • Contribute to our end-to-end recruitment processes, ensuring they are efficient, yet thorough:
    • Work with hiring managers, the interviewing team and candidates to schedule interviews ensuring they're prepared and briefed on the role
    • Respond to candidate queries
    • Conduct reference checks on potential employees and provide feedback to hiring managers
  • Actively promote our employee referral program

Experience and skills:
  • You love finding great people
  • An active member of the communities where talent lives and breathes
  • Experience as an in-house recruiter filling technical roles is essential
  • Strong relationship building skills. Creating and nurturing relationships is important to you, and you have proven experience developing candidate pipelines across a number of different roles
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills: high emotional intelligence, resilience and a pro-active, go live attitude
  • Understanding of where to find candidates and how to speak to different candidate groups
  • Passionate about recruiting for digital and web
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • Utilise your creativity and solid writing skills to create job ads that inspire
