As a member of the Human Resources Section, the Rehabilitation Case Manager (RCM) is responsible for providing a range of services to employees for both compensable and non-compensable injuries and/or illnesses. They will primarily perform the functions, and exercise the powers, of that role for the Department in accordance with sections 36 and 37 of the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988.
The Human Resources section is part of the Support and Operations Branch of the AAD, and provides a wide range of HR-related services and functions to AAD managers and employees at Head Office (Hobart, Tasmania) and the Antarctic/Sub-Antarctic stations. Functions include recruitment, payroll, workers compensation, training, performance management and conditions of service advice. The Human Resources section also works closely with the Department’s HR functional areas located in Canberra.
