About You
You are a passionate and driven Human Resource professional with a proven ability to interpret Enterprise Agreements and provide guidance on a wide range of HR matters. Your communication skills are second to none and you have the ability to liaise and negotiate with individuals from all walks of life. You’re a quick thinker with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once and prioritise your workload. You are now looking for an exciting new challenge to work in a large and complex business.
About the Role
Reporting to the People & Capability Manager at Acacia Prison you will be responsible for providing advice and guidance to managers and employees on a wide range of HR matters. Based at Acacia Prison in Wooroloo WA you will work within a secure environment and be seen as a go to person for HR and EA related queries and support. You will ensure that all new staff are appropriately cleared to work in the prison in line with compliance requirements.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- You demonstrate the highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour.
- A qualification in Human Resources/Management ideally at a University level.
- At least two (2) years experiences working in a HR generalist role.
- Experience working in a unionised environment is desirable
- Excellent stakeholder management and customer service skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding attention to detail to ensure high level of compliance
- Proven ability to work effectively with multiple internal & external stakeholders.
