icare is currently seeking Workforce Planning Lead to lead the development, delivery and implementation of a brand new workforce planning framework

We’re looking for someone to lead the development, delivery and implementation of a workforce planning framework that is linked to icare’s strategic business plan. You will guide the business lines, enabling services, project teams to undertake best practice workforce planning and ensure its built into the integrated planning process. 

You’ll be working with a diverse mix of creative, curious, hardworking and smart people who really care about making a difference for people and the NSW community. You will have a mind for getting things done and a heart for people and you will set the bar high through the quality of the work you do and the people-oriented decisions you make.

You’ll have a relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent Human Resources skills and knowledge gained through practical experience. This role has high visibility across icare with exposure to the leadership teams of all service lines, so you will be confident and comfortable presenting, educating and coaching across all levels.

It’s an exciting environment where no two days are the same. But on a typical day you might find yourself:

• clearly identifying the people strategies required to deliver correct resourcing with all skills and capabilities required
• connecting with business leaders to understand their business, gather insights and understand their needs to support the build of the workforce planning framework
• preparing a business case for senior leaders and undertake stakeholder engagement to support and enable the change
• building a strategic and operational framework that enables the business to gain and manage their united workforce through simple to use workforce planning tools that reduce workforce related risks
• managing complex and competing demands with multiple stakeholders to ensure current and future business expectations are met and exceeded.
